A biting parable about public reaction - Chris Robinson, Unsung Heroes of Animation
This film is also available on iTunes.
By turns whimsical and frightening, SPECTATORS takes us inside a crowded movie theater, watching the watchers as they respond to what's on the screen. A flurry of images and sounds charts the ever-changing emotional reactions of the audience, who react less as individuals than as a large organism. As it entertains us with its swooping movements and endlessly inventive variations, the film also warns us about loss of individuality and the madness of crowds.
